I've always had a deep fascination with the intricacies of the human psyche, a passion that led me to earn a bachelor’s degree in psychology, from California State University, Northridge. While my academic journey began in the realm of psychology, my career took an intriguing turn into restaurant management and the service industry.

In these roles, I found myself passionately committed to helping others streamline processes, simplify workflows, and implement best practices. It was through these experiences that I discovered my knack for optimizing operational efficiency and enhancing customer service.

However, my career aspirations evolved, prompting me to seek a deeper understanding of Human Resources (HR) and the invaluable intersection between service-based expertise and organizational HR skills. This transition inspired me to earn my certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in 2021, significantly accelerating my expertise and reinforcing my dedication to the HR profession.

Today, as the Client Implementation Manager for The Afekt Co., I find immense fulfillment in collaborating with Ellie Franchises across the nation. My role not only allows me to leverage my proficiency in payroll and HR (I oversee payroll operations for Larry's Ellie clinics in the greater Houston area), but it also affords me the opportunity to immerse myself in the vibrant Ellie Zee community. Here, I assist both new and established franchise clients in implementing their employee benefit plans and seamlessly integrating these plans with their payroll systems.

Outside of my professional pursuits, I have the privilege of calling Northern Idaho home, where my family and I relish the beauty of this region. My husband and I are proud parents to three vibrant young children, including a set of twins, who keep our home wonderfully hectic. We embrace an active lifestyle, immersing ourselves in a plethora of outdoor adventures—hiking, camping, biking, water sports, boating, horseback riding, and more. Travel is also a cherished family pastime, as we create enduring memories together on our journeys.
